I am a certified teacher and native Chinese speaker with over ten years of experience working with students from elementary through middle school. I hold a Master’s degree in TESOL and World Language Education from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts from Anhui Normal University. I am also certified in Chinese, ESOL, English Language Arts, Math, and Special Education in Georgia, and I have completed an Instructional Design MasterTrack Certificate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This background allows me to support students across multiple subjects while understanding both language development and effective learning design.

Over the years, I have worked with students in a variety of settings, including classroom instruction, small-group instruction, and one-on-one support. I have taught both language and academic subjects, helping students strengthen their reading, writing, and overall communication skills. In addition to my classroom experience, I have privately tutored students in Chinese and piano, working closely with them to build confidence and consistency. I enjoy breaking down challenging concepts into simple, clear steps so students can feel successful and make steady progress.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and structured, with a strong focus on helping students feel comfortable and confident in their learning. I have worked with students of different learning levels and backgrounds, including bilingual learners and those who need extra support, and I always tailor my approach to meet each student’s needs. My goal is to not only help students improve academically but also to help them become more independent and confident learners over time.
