Hi I'm Alex! I recently graduated summa cum laude with honors from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Cellular Biology in May 2026. I was recently accepted to the Medical College of Georgia and will begin med school in Fall 2027! Over the past four years as an undergrad, I have tutored General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cellular Biology, Immunology, and Anatomy and Physiology. I am Level 3 CRLA Certified and have over 500 hours of both individual and large group tutoring experience in the above STEM courses including one-on-one tutoring sessions and 130+ student exam review sessions where I was the sole instructor guiding students through practice problems and answering questions.
While I was prior to and during my study preparations for the MCAT, I saw how my friends and I struggled to figure out what the best method was to even begin studying for the exam and then follow through and finish studying to the extent that we felt confident when taking the seven hour long exam. My study methods yielded me a 94% score of a 517 and I wish to now spread both my study techniques and help students tackle difficult concepts that are present on the MCAT.
I am available to tutor in-person or online over Zoom or another platform you are comfortable with. Sit down with me for a quick intro session and I will show you that studying for the MCAT is not as daunting as it may seem, provided you know what materials to use and how to approach studying for the exam.
I look forward to being your tutor!
