I have an extensive educational background including a B.S. in kinesiology, a M.S. in exercise physiology and a PhD in biomedical science. Throughout my near 10-year graduate career I have mentored and tutored over 25 graduate and undergraduate students in courses including biology, chemistry, biochemistry, kinesiology, thermodynamics and physiology systems. Additionally, over 75% of the students I have mentored have continued their educations and received a graduate level diploma. I have taught students of varying ages ranging from 17-25 years of age and have some experience tutoring students younger than this range as well. I've taught in various settings including, classroom style, one-on-one and virtual style.
I would like to convey that I truly love to teach. I chose to enter graduate school and earn my PhD with the sole thought of becoming a professor. I find real joy in watching the lightbulb turn on inside the heads of young students and it's something I would love to continue to do.
