I am currently a freshman in college pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong academic background in mathematics. Throughout high school I completed advanced math coursework through Differential Equations and Multivariable Calculus, including dual enrollment classes with Georgia Tech. I scored a 35 on the ACT, and math has always been one of my strongest subjects. Because of this background, I enjoy helping students build confidence in math and understand concepts that may initially seem difficult.

My tutoring style focuses on making learning approachable and enjoyable rather than stressful. I aim to explain concepts in the clearest and most relatable way possible, breaking problems down step by step and encouraging students to ask questions throughout the process. I also place a strong emphasis on practice, since repeated problem-solving helps students truly understand the material and build lasting skills. I believe that creating a comfortable learning environment and building a positive relationship with each student helps them stay motivated and engaged.

During my senior year of high school, I worked as an online one-on-one math tutor with AAH Tutoring, helping students in grades 5 through 8. I worked with a variety of learners, including students for whom English was a second language. In addition, I coached a U14 basketball team, leading weekly practices with about 12 players and guiding them through a full season of games. I primarily tutor elementary and middle school students and offer support in math subjects up through Algebra, as well as SAT math preparation.
