Hello, my name is Eric H. I am from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, I graduated high school in 2021, ranking 9th out of a class of 760, and was a right-handed pitcher drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 19th round of the MLB Draft. I also have a younger brother who I have tutored and mentored my whole life.
My academic journey took me to the University of Southern California, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis in just three years. Despite a challenging start with Tommy John surgery that sidelined me during my Freshman year, I made a strong comeback, making 21 starts and 27 appearances over the following two seasons. My time at USC was not only defined by athletic achievements but also by my leadership role in the USC Baseball Bible study group, where I helped foster a supportive community for my teammates. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at USC and met many different people who helped me have a better perspective on life and helped me to grow as a person.
Currently, as a graduate student at the University of Georgia studying Entrepreneurship and continuing to play baseball, I am excited to leverage my experiences to make a meaningful impact. My background in high-level sports, coupled with my academic accomplishments, has honed my skills in discipline, resilience, and teamwork. I am dedicated to using these qualities to guide and inspire students, helping them unlock their potential and achieve their goals. With a commitment to personal growth and a deep understanding of the challenges students face, I am eager to contribute positively and supportively to their educational journey.
