I'm an engaging educator with 15 years of experience related to Math, English and Writing. With a Master's degree in ESL, I can also offer help for non-native English speakers. My sessions are a dynamic blend of rigor, professionalism, creativity, interactivity, and positive encouragement. I shine at tackling trouble-areas, building confidence, and helping students meet their academic goals. I strive to build rapport, trust, and a meaningful learning relationship with all my clients. With Math education, I got my B.A in Mathematics from the University of Washington. I break down concepts, discover trouble areas, make math fun, build confidence, and ease anxiety for basic math, pre-algebra and algebra! I love working with Elementary, Middle School, High School, and College age.

For ESL/ESOL, I got my M.A ESL Teaching, U. of Illinois and received the Teaching Excellence Award. I've taught ESL for 10 years in person and online and studied abroad. I work with speaking, pronunciation, writing development, and business English. Students love how clearly I speak and support them with patience and dedication!

I’m also an Essay Writing Coach for HS, College and Graduate Admissions and Scholarships. I help students craft the most compelling story for their competitive essays. I shine at eliciting ideas through creative brainstorming and fine-tuning tone, organization, and coherence. I've helped students get accepted to their top schools!

I’m also an Academic Research Paper Consultant. I've taught classes, workshops and individual instruction with graduate students, post-doc and professional researchers for professional papers (IMRD, dissertation, Analysis). I can help with diverse subject areas to fine-tune coherence, clarity and organization. I have a keen understanding for how to make your paper effective, clear and compelling!
