I was selected to attend the prestigious Governor's Honors Program in Georgia for Biology and later accepted into Miami’s highly competitive accelerated 7-year BS/MD program, which has an acceptance rate of less than 2% (guaranteeing admission into medical school straight from high school). I graduated with a 4.0 GPA as a Biology Major and an MD with research distinction - on a full tuition Singer Scholarship.
