Giulia is exceptional as an Italian tutor in every regard. She has a very educated knowledge of the intricacies of grammar and knows how to present it in a very understandable way to a non-speaker. She is also very energetic and provides much more than just language tutoring, as she is always very excited to explain cultural nuances and is very knowledgeable about food and customs all over the Italy. She helped us plan our trip for this summer and her advice is certain to make a difference in how much our family gets out of the visit. In addition, Giulia is very accommodating in terms of times and flexibility in how she teaches. She is teaching both me and my wife and even brought her children who also speak Italian to teach my child! I am amazed that after about six to eight lessons, I found myself able to understand most of when she speaks to me (which she does almost the entire lesson), and even hobble through simple conversations. She really makes learning a language fun and I would highly recommend her as a tutor to anyone!

Good fit; she is just what I need in a tutor
I very much enjoyed meeting Giulia and working with her today. I look forward to our future sessions. We share a love of languages and international experiences. 2/11/15 We had our third meeting today. I find that I understand more when Giulia is speaking and I am getting a better overview of the things I want to learn. My goal is to be able to converse with my husband's relatives when we go to Rome in April. I also want to be able to communicate with Italians in all the places we will visit during our trip.
