Hello! My name is Loni, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve academically, and develop strong study habits that last beyond the classroom.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Alpharetta High School with a 4.1 GPA and was honored as the 2024 Scholar Athlete of the Year. In 2025 I won the GA 6A state championship in the high jump. I currently attend Oglethorpe University on a Presidential Scholarship and am also a recipient of the HOPE Scholarship. In addition, I compete on the university track team, participate in the Presidential Emerging Leaders Program, and work as a Sports Correspondent and Journalist for the university.
For over two years, I served as a tutor through the National Honor Society, where I worked with dozens of middle and high school students in English/ Essay writing. Through this experience, I learned how important patience, encouragement, and personalized instruction are for student success. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my tutoring style to match each student’s needs, learning pace, and goals.
My approach focuses on making difficult concepts easier to understand while also helping students develop confidence and independent problem-solving skills. I believe students perform best when they feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in the learning process.
Along with academics, my background in leadership, athletics, and journalism has strengthened my communication, organization, and mentoring abilities. I am a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Society of Leadership and Success, and I strive to create a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment for every student I work with.
I look forward to helping students achieve their academic goals and reach their full potential!
