Hi there!! My name is Mia T., and I am a Finance student at Kennesaw State University with plans to earn my CPA license. I have always excelled in math and enjoy helping others succeed in their classes. In high school, I completed AP Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Language, and multiple honors courses. Additionally, I completed one year as a Teacher Assistant for Algebra 2. My friends and classmates often turned to me for help because I could explain concepts individualized ways that made sense to them.
I also bring experience working with young children, including those with special needs (ages 2–7) and individuals with ADHD. These experiences taught me the importance of meeting students where they are. Beyond academics, I have worked in the food service industry, which strengthened my people skills, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly.
I believe I work best with younger students who think and learn a little differently, as I do myself. Everyone learns in their own way, and I find it important to ensure that students who may not immediately grasp classroom material maintain their confidence and motivation to keep learning.
