Hey, I'm Ved B. Graduated from high school with a Cambridge International Education diploma by completing the Mathematics, Physics and Economics A-Levels. Additionally, I completed Cambridge AS-Level Further Math, and was the only one in my graduation class to do so.

I've always been fascinated by math, and never limited my learning to school syllabuses. I enjoy playing around with formulae and graphs, and discovering ways to solve new problems on my own. Above all, I love sharing this fascination with others.

During my junior and senior years, I was a Mathematics and Physics Teaching Assistant for IGCSE as well as AS-level. For both subjects, I taught new concepts both one-on-one and in 30+ student classrooms, set exam-style homework sheets and assessments to improve test-taking ability, and gave personalized feedback to each student for all their work throughout the year. It was hard work but I enjoyed every second of it, as did my students.

I took the SAT in my Junior year, and received a score of 800 on the Math section (& 720 in English, for a total of 1520) on my first and only attempt. My performance brought attention from other SAT-giving students. Upon request, I started teaching SAT Math during summer, all with highly positive feedback.

As a Cambridge Student, all my final year exams in high school were standardized tests, so I understand the importance of developing the skill of test-taking. As an SAT tutor, I emphasize not only learning new concepts, but the ability to answer them in an exam setting. My tuitions will include not only conceptual understanding, but also cover the best ways to answer questions on the test, among other general test-taking tips.
