With over 15 years of tutoring experience, I bring a deep understanding of how students learn best - reaching their full potential and highest grades, alongside a passion for helping them build confidence. I have tutored both privately and in the classroom as a member of the Learning Support Department at a rigorous college-preparatory school known for its strong math program. I’ve worked with students from middle school through college, including those with ADHD, Dyscalculia, and other learning differences. I also hold a certification in Executive Function tutoring through The Cliff Valley Institute, allowing me to integrate organization, time management, note-taking, and study strategies into every session.

In Algebra 1 and Pre-Algebra, I focus on developing true conceptual understanding, not just test readiness. Algebra 1 is the foundation for all higher math and a major focus on the SAT and ACT, so I take great care to help students achieve lasting mastery. Whether a student is taking Algebra 1 as an advanced middle schooler, high schooler, or college learner, I adapt my approach to their needs. My sessions are engaging and flexible; I show how solving equations can feel like working through fun logic puzzles, and I teach multiple problem-solving methods so every student finds one that works best for them.

In Art History, I combine my academic training and enthusiasm to make the subject meaningful and enjoyable. I am earning my Master’s in Art History from the Academy of Art University and scored a 5 on the AP Art History Exam. My sessions strengthen visual analysis, historical understanding, and study skills while keeping learning creative and engaging. Whether preparing for the AP exam or exploring art across time periods, I help students connect with the material and develop confidence in their abilities.

I have over 15 years of experience tutoring Algebra 1 in both private and classroom settings as a member of the Learning Support Department at a rigorous college-preparatory school. I have worked with students at every level—advanced middle school, high school, and college—helping them build strong foundations and meet or exceed expectations. Having extensive experience supporting students with learning differences such as ADHD and Dyscalculia, I tailor my approach to make Algebra accessible and confidence-building. I also hold a certification in Executive Function tutoring, allowing me to help students strengthen organization, time management, note-taking, and study skills. Algebra 1 is my favorite subject to teach, and I make sessions fun and engaging by showing how solving equations is like working through logic puzzles that truly make sense.
