Hi, I’m Mandy! I graduated summa cum laude from Valdosta State University with a degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in mathematics. I have spent the past 26 years teaching mathematics in a variety of settings, including high school classrooms, college campuses, private homeschools, and one-on-one online tutoring sessions. I work with both high school and college students, and I am certified to teach AP Calculus.

Whether you need help with homework, last-minute test prep, or ongoing support, I meet students where they are and help them move forward with confidence. My approach focuses on true understanding rather than memorization. I help students see why the math works, think logically through problems, and check the reasonableness of their answers. Mandy is an excellent algebra 2 tutor who has deep knowledge of both the subject as well as the homeschool curriculum. In addition, Mandy explains the concepts clearly, moves at the pace of the child (e.g., goes faster if the child can handle an accelerated volume of material), regularly tests concepts, and is very kind and understanding. Mandy truly is an outstanding tutor!
