I'm Emily and graduated with a Bachelor's in Spanish in 2012. Since then, I have immersed myself in Spanish-speaking culture, even living abroad. I have been a tutor for more than 9 years and have seen great success with my students. Everybody has a different learning style, so I adjust my tutoring to meet individual needs. Works Wonderfully With Our Daughter!!
Our daughter needed some help with Spanish 2 so I looked online and found Wyzant. After looking up tutors in our area, I came across Emily's profile and I'm so glad we found her!! We love her attitude and she tries really hard to accommodate our hectic schedule, which can sometimes be last minute. My daughter (who's 14), seems very comfortable with her and hearing them talk, Emily knows how to talk to her so she can understand the work they are doing. If you are looking for a great tutor, Emily would be a wonderful choice.

Great tutor and very patient!
Emily has been very patient with my little girl ever since she started tutoring her in Spanish. It's hard to keep a little kid focused for an hour, but Emily does it quite well. She focuses on what captures my little girl's attention and puts a Spanish lesson together that she is always excited for. I could not of ask for a better Spanish teacher for my daughter than Emily! She is fantastic and makes learning Spanish for my little girl something she really enjoys!

I contacted Emily to assist my son who is a junior in college and completely overwhelmed by Spanish. At the introduction meeting we knew we contacted the perfect person! Emily was positive, laid out an instruction plan and we felt for sure she would be able to help. My son and Emily have met four times and I'm so happy to report, he came through the front door with a smile and said he had a break through!
