I graduated college with a bachelor's of science in environmental science. Whilst in college, I always made the dean's or the president's list. I was even awarded research grants for my groundbreaking work as a student researcher. Because of these achievements, I tutored my classmates in math and organic chemistry which allowed them all to pass the class and even achieve high marks, eventually leading to them graduating from university.
After college, I have predominately taught English and science to non-native English speakers in classroom settings, ranging from elementary to college. I specialize in one-on-one teaching which allows me to tailor lesson plans for each student and their needs. However, due to my years of previous classroom experience, I am also skilled in teaching small groups. Alongside my teaching job, I also ran my own business as a tutor for afterschool programs, specializing in IELTS and Cambridge English exams.
