Hi, I’m Angeliki and I’m a French and Modern Greek tutor whose life’s passion is teaching foreign language. I love teaching and tutoring in creative and exciting ways, working with easy simple methods and helping each of my students, regardless of age or level, to feel excited about their progress and getting engaged. I’m fluent in Greek, French, English, and conversant in Spanish. I am a native of Greece but have studied foreign languages since childhood. I’m certified to teach French K-12 and I’m Gifted endorsed. I can also teach learners whose first language is other than English because I’m ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) endorsed. My passion for teaching foreign languages was sparked by a special one-year program I attended at Paris IV-La Sorbonne. I also attended a summer school in Collège du Leman in Vercoix outside Geneva where I was exposed to many cultures. I was a student of bilingual middle and high schools in Europe. Later I earned a Bachelors and then a Master’s Degree in French Language and Literature from Université de Bourgogne and a Master’s in Education from the University of Oklahoma. I have over 25 years of experience teaching or tutoring. I have experience tutoring students of several age groups, from middle and high schoolers needing an academic boost or preparation for a diploma exam, to adults needing language skills for a foreign business venture. I have even taught and tutored US Military students at the college level online for a satellite US college overseas. Because of my wide range of experience, I’m happy to adapt my tutoring style to the needs of my student.
