How many ways can you say, "I love you"? If you are speaking English, more than you would imagine. English is a wonderfully rich language with nuances and subtleties that grab one and encourage a love affair with it.

My love of English is what led me to become a teacher, and is the place I can most easily share my excitement and discoveries with others.
I graduated from the University of Natal in South Africa with a BA in English and a high school teachers' diploma.
At the same time I passed the exams from Trinity College London in Speech teaching, which augmented my skills in my minor of Speech and Drama from the University of Natal.
I have experience as a teacher and a teacher/librarian in South Africa, and several years as a substitute teacher in Harris county, Texas, Broome County, New York and Seminole County, Florida. To be a tutor and share the joy I have found in watching my pupils "get it" is something I eagerly look forward to.
I wish to attract students at all levels, elementary, middle school, high school as well as post-high school who could use some extra tutoring to help ease entry into the workplace or college. Students who speak English as a second language could also benefit from my hands-on and simple approach to mastering English.
I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you and joining you on a voyage of discovery.
