Bio

After graduating from UCF, I chose to accept an offer to work for NASA rather than continue my education with a fully funded scholarship for graduate school.

During my 18 years at NASA, my accomplishments included:
7 years as lead Ground Telecommunications Engineer (Space Shuttle Atlantis)
10+ years of embedded system design (specialized electronic equipment used for processing space craft and specialized research equipment).

7 years as lead Ground Telecommunications Engineer (Space Shuttle Atlantis)
10+ years of embedded system design (specialized electronic equipment used for processing space craft and specialized research equipment).

Projects included:
-data acquisition and control systems for remote research using the internet
-clean room monitoring using optical scattering
-fast voltage monitoring and control for ground power to the next generation spacecraft.

I love mathematics and students would desire to sit near me during homework at UCF. It would make my day for a student who is having trouble realize that they CAN do this!

Electrical engineering includes a strong background in physics and engineering concepts, including mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, statics, dynamics, etc.

Tutoring is fun, and helps keep my skill set sharp. Contact me if you need to know more about me and how I tutor. I want you to excel!

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I am an Electrical Engineer (suma cum claude) with years and years of math training, plus I worked at NASA for 18 years as a shuttle engineer and an electronics design engineer.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

The electrical engineering degree requires years of math, including Calculus I, II and III plus differential equations, all of which require algebra when reduced to the final form. In addition, applied mathematics in circuit theory, frequency analysis (Fourier), network analysis (Laplace) all use mathematics, which is boiled down to algebra. I love math and I can explain it in detail to the interested!
Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

I spent 18 years as a NASA engineer, including 10 years design experience. I am strong in embedded systems, combining engineering and firmware development. I had a strong knowledge of electronics pre-degree, doing designs and repair for Frito-Lay, UPS, Toufayan Bakery, and others.
PHP

PHP

At NASA, I created two websites, one for sustaining engineering, and one for independent assessment departments, using PHP/Access. My business website I created using PHP/MySQL.
