Hello! My name is Alexandra, and I am a professional writing consultant. I have been serving students online and in the Central Florida community for over 10 amazing years. I have a deep passion for writing, education, and transforming student writers.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in Writing & Rhetoric, with a concentration in technical communication. I have worked as a content writer, copywriter, ghostwriter, editor, teacher, administrator, and consultant. Along with extensive experience with writing, I am a highly trained tutor. I received formal tutor training at the UCF University Writing Center; I published my Honors thesis in writing center theory and practice; I have attended and presented at writing conferences; I have hired, trained, and mentored writing tutors; I have developed tutoring programs, resources, curriculum, and manuals for schools, tutoring businesses, and education companies. I serve students with a range of cognitive and communicative differences, which I especially value and recognize the need for extra attention, care, and lots of fun!
My mission is to empower students to become independent writers. No matter where we’re starting, students will learn tools, tips, and tricks to take on any writing situation with confidence. I work with all kinds of students, in all different kinds of writing, at every stage of the writing process. I've worked with students at my home, at their home, at schools, coffee shops, cafes, and libraries. I'm happy to meet students (literally!) where they are.
