Hi, I’m Silvano! I’ve been teaching mathematics for over 25 years at community colleges, state colleges, and universities, and I now specialize in helping students succeed online. Math can feel confusing or intimidating at first, but with clear explanations and patient guidance, it starts to make sense. I love seeing that moment when everything “clicks” and a student realizes they truly can understand math.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education and a master’s degree in Pure Mathematics, specializing in Harmonic and Functional Analysis. I’ve also completed more than 30 additional graduate credits, all earned with a perfect GPA. I tutor all levels of math, from basic algebra through Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Statistics, and I’m experienced using online learning platforms such as Zoom, Canvas, Moodle, MyLab Math/Statistics, and WebAssign.
