I hold a Master of Science in Mathematics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Havana. Over the years, I have developed a strong foundation in core areas of mathematics including calculus, algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, and numerical analysis. My academic background is complemented by hands-on experience in programming with Python, MATLAB, and Maple, which I integrate into my teaching to provide students with practical problem-solving skills.

I have taught mathematics at multiple educational levels, ranging from undergraduate students in mechanical, forestry, and agronomy engineering programs to high school students in the United States. Most recently, I served as a high school math teacher and tutor at Polk Christian Preparatory School in Lakeland, Florida, focusing on Algebra and Geometry. Additionally, I gained experience teaching 6th grade regular math at Dundee Ridge Middle Academy, where I supported students in developing confidence and proficiency in foundational math skills. My approach emphasizes active participation, critical thinking, and one-on-one personalized guidance tailored to each student’s learning style.

As a bilingual tutor fluent in both Spanish and English, I am able to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and provide explanations in the language that best facilitates their understanding. I am passionate about making mathematics accessible and engaging, helping students not only improve their grades but also build a genuine interest in the subject.
