From "I don't get it" to "I've got this" — that's the transformation I love most. I combine a Master's in Computer Science with years of tutoring experience to give students something rare: a tutor who truly knows the material and knows how to teach it. And because I'm a programmer at heart, I go beyond the textbook, creating customizable and interactive learning tools that make the material feel less overwhelming and a lot more engaging.

I believe learning works best when it feels approachable. Too many students come to me convinced they're "just not a math person" or that a subject is simply beyond them, and nothing is more rewarding than watching that belief shift. My teaching philosophy centers on building genuine understanding, not just memorizing steps. When a student understands the "why" behind a concept, everything else starts to fall into place. I take the time to figure out how each student thinks and what kind of explanation will finally make it click.

Every session is personalized to you. We'll start by identifying the gaps and misconceptions that are holding you back, then work through them in a way that matches your learning style — whether that's visual examples, step-by-step breakdowns, practice problems, or interactive tools I've built to reinforce tough concepts. One of the biggest barriers for test preparation is that standardized tests require a different mindset than classroom exams, and that shift doesn't happen on its own. Learning to "think like the test" is a skill in itself, and it's one I'll guide you through step by step. Sessions are focused but never rigid; if something isn't landing, we try a different approach until it does.
