Hi, I'm Ramón! I graduated cum laude with High Honors in Economics from Harvard University. During my time at Harvard, I had the privilege of serving as a Course Assistant for the Introduction to Economics course series for four semesters. There, I led weekly sections of 15 to 20 students, engaged with smaller groups, and held one-on-one office hours where I helped students work through the course's demanding curriculum and assignments.

Those sessions taught me so much about what it really takes to help someone understand material, not simply re-explaining a textbook, but finding the personalized angle that finally makes it click for each student. By the end of each semester, I could genuinely see the difference it made, and that's what keeps me passionate about teaching. I bring all of that into my tutoring.

Math has genuinely always been something I love. I competed on my high school math team and carried that passion straight into Harvard, where my Economics education immersed me in rigorous coursework spanning calculus to statistical theory, and I earned high marks across all of it. That depth, combined with a perfect 800 on the SAT Math test, means I know this material from both ends: I understand it at a high level and I know exactly what the test demands. That's what allows me to not just teach the material, but break it down for any level and make it feel approachable and intuitive, so you walk in on test day with real confidence, not just familiarity.
