Hello, my name is Drew Y. I am a printmaker, as such, my interest lies with that which is tangible and the process of creating. My work emphasizes human experiences, favoring actions and emotion. My primary medium is non-digital printing methods. The process of historic printing techniques mirrors the experiences of life. Each brush stroke may contain slight flaws that make every print an original. I find these flaws representative of life in its truest form. I was born in Inverness, Florida and I served six years active duty overseas in the United States Marine Corps. I received my B.F.A. in Fine Art Photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
