Don't be scared, Spanish is fun and necessary if you want to be competent in your future or actual job. If you live in the U.S., specially in areas with a lot of Spanish speaking population, Spanish is a must. You need to talk and understand the people around you. It is also important to learn about the culture and customs of different countries. Knowing another language increases your brain flexibility, you will score better in SAT tests, gives you a different understanding of other cultures, stimulates creativity.
