My absolute passion in life is sharing my creative skills and knowledge with aspiring artists of all ages! I work in a variety of media, so I have the hands-on experience to impart my "wisdom" with those who are curious to find their artistic voice. I have been fortunate to receive a lifetime of formal training from mentors and professors, which has enriched my formal knowledge of the artistic process. Whether you're building your portfolio for high school or college admissions or just want to try something new, I know we will create great work together.

I have a BFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. I am a realistic portrait artist who has been exhibited and featured in publications. I have been classically trained to render and draw forms and proportions accurately. I am skilled in graphite, charcoal, pastel and ink drawing. I also enjoy making quirky, digital collage pieces using sculpting, photography and Photoshop techniques.

As a portrait artist, my drawing style is realistic. Therefore, I believe proportion and measurement for accuracy are an important aspect of a successful work. Additionally, I believe it is important to be tactful and sensitive to color and shading, but I also respect each individual's personal aesthetic and ability. If you are a curious aspiring artist, as I once was (and still am!), I would love to advise you along your path.

Upon request, I can bring my materials to demonstrate technique; but if you are serious about pursuing a particular medium, then you should acquire your own supplies prior to our session (as they can be expensive). If you need suggestions, I can recommend some options to be better prepared. I require a 24-hour cancellation notice, but I'm always willing to reschedule a make-up session. Also, there is an extra fee for mileage outside of my 10-mile travel radius.
