Dear potential student,

I absolutely love tutoring. I am a certified math educator, currently tutoring Middle school through College Algebra, including SAT Math, ACT Math, GRE math, and GED math. I have been tutoring Homeschooled and traditional students for over 15 years. Mostly math but also some English and speech as well. Dear potential student,

I absolutely love tutoring. I am a certified math educator, currently tutoring Middle school through College Algebra, including SAT Math, ACT Math, GRE math, and GED math. I have been tutoring Homeschooled and traditional students for over 15 years. Mostly math but also some English and speech as well. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Actuarial Science from Drake University. I also obtained my teaching certification through Palm Beach State College’s rigorous EPI program. Additionally, I have taken Graduate level courses to enhance my knowledge. Therefore, I have studied quite a bit of math and statistics in addition to passing several Actuarial exams. In addition to tutoring, I have also homeschooled all subjects for over fifteen years and have taught Math and English at local schools. This has kept me fresh and up to date with the changes taking place in academia. I also have experience working with Florida Virtual School (FLVS) and other online programs.

I enjoy engaging you, the student, in the learning process. I work diligently with you to find your weaknesses so that you can become a better student.

Most of the students that I tutor generally need homework help or help to understand a particular concept. I also help homeschooled students with learning and comprehending their math subjects. Additionally, I also help students focus on their weak areas.

My Philosophy is one of doing everything I can to help you understand in the manner in which you learn best.

Because I have home schooled all subjects for over 15 years as well as taught Math and English, I am familiar with the subject matter on the GED test. We would take a step by step approach to help you understand the different areas and pinpoint exactly what you need to know. If you only need help in one area, say Math, that's okay as well. Let's get it done!

I use a blend of techniques, including the internet, to help you understand the concept. Maybe you struggled through Algebra 1. That's okay. Geometry is more visual anyway.

This review is from my 12 yr old daughter

Audrey has taught me how to create box plots, how to understand them, and she has even shown me examples whenever I'm confused. She makes sure whatever I'm confused about, l understand. She even taught me how to be an step ahead of the work I'm doing. Her lessons led me to getting a high green / passing grade on a math test l usually get an yellow on.
