I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education and History, a Master of Arts in Ancient Near Eastern Studies from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, and have completed all coursework for a Doctorate of Literature and Philosophy in Egyptology from the University of South Africa. I am currently in my 30th year in Education. I have had many opportunities to teach grades 6-12, and university level courses. I have taught in 3 countries and have taught in various educational styles including British, American, and International, teaching subject areas of History, Humanities, English, and English as a Second Language. I have training and experience in teaching British A Levels, International Baccalaureate, and Advance Placement in subject areas of History and English. In addition to teaching I have also been chosen to be an Academic Dean twice for the prestigious Center for Talented Youth through John Hopkins University as well as Department Chair of History and English in four different schools both in the United States and abroad.
