I am from Tampa, Florida, and I am an undergraduate student at Florida State University pursuing degrees in Accounting and Management Information Systems. Throughout high school, I completed coursework through Calculus II (AP Calculus AB and BC) and AP Statistics, giving me a strong mathematical foundation that I bring to every tutoring session. I also earned a 730 on the SAT Math section.

Although my mathematical background extends well beyond the subjects I tutor, I specialize in Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Geometry because I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in the fundamentals. I believe that understanding why a concept works is just as important as knowing how to solve the problem. My goal is to help students develop lasting problem-solving skills instead of simply memorizing procedures.

One of my greatest strengths as a tutor is my ability to explain concepts in multiple ways. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match each student's learning style, pace, and personality. Whether a student learns best through visuals, step-by-step examples, or real-world applications, I work to find the explanation that makes the most sense to them.

As a current college student, I also remember what it feels like to struggle with new math concepts. Because of that experience, I strive to create a patient, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I enjoy helping students who become frustrated or lose confidence in math by breaking difficult topics into manageable steps and celebrating their progress along the way. My ultimate goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students become more confident, independent learners who feel prepared for future math course

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have a strong foundation in Algebra 1 and regularly apply algebraic concepts in my college coursework. I enjoy helping students understand topics such as solving equations, graphing linear functions, inequalities, systems of equations, and word problems. My goal is to break down difficult concepts into something simple, so I can further tailor a style to a specific student's learning style.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I have been enveloped in math my whole life, and I always seek out that the math issue is not when it gets harder; it's when your foundation starts to crack. That being said, I make it a point to engrave a strong mathematical foundation in every one of my students, so they can excel in school and their future careers. I adapt my teaching style to each individual's learning style, so each individual feels comfortable in this learning environment.
Elementary Science

Elementary Science

For my entire life, I have been consumed by science. In high school, I took all the classes my school offered me. Because of that, I have become extremely proficient in science topics such as earth science, chemistry, and biology. I have completed coursework through AP Chemistry, and I advanced to the Florida State Science Fair with a physics project. In addition, I have a passion for science because it encompasses all the building blocks of life, and I think it's very important everyone has a solid understanding of what it means to understand science.
Geometry

Geometry

I have a solid understanding of Geometry, and it was actually my favorite subject in high school. I enjoy helping students visualize geometric concepts and develop logical problem-solving skills. I explain concepts step by step and adapt my teaching style to match each student's learning needs. My goal is to help students gain confidence, improve their grades, and build a strong foundation for higher-level math courses.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

I have a strong understanding of Pre-Algebra concepts. I enjoy helping students build the foundational math skills they need before moving into Algebra 1. I explain each concept clearly and work through problems step by step to ensure students truly understand the material. My goal is to help students strengthen their confidence in math and develop problem-solving skills that will benefit them in future courses.
