Personable and reliable math tutor for Algebra 1 & Geometry.

I'm a high school senior who has completed coursework up to Calc II, giving me a strong math foundation that I will bring to every tutoring session. For years, my teachers and mentors have constantly praised how important it is to stick to the roots of math - basic algebra - because when in doubt, you should always check your algebra after getting a problem wrong.

I have advanced far beyond Algebra 1 and Geometry, two classes I am both confident in performing in and assisting struggling students in. I'm not the strongest math student when it comes to understanding concepts quickly, which is why I think I would be a great match for students in need of someone with different or unique ways of explaining common math processes and operations.

Through my progression and strong academic performance, I've been able to retain not only the new concepts and topics brought upon me, but I've also been able to retain my Algebra 1 and Geometry knowledge through constant revision and analysis of my math work.

Specifically, I would specialize in Algebra 1 and Geometry topics, and with different students I would curate a teaching style that fits their learning style and personality.

As a current student who had struggled with understanding math concepts at first introduction, I will be able to have a stronger connection with students in need of tutoring. I'm also very personable and relatable, so I can help the students who lose focus, break down instantly, or get frustrated easily have a positive experience and get back on track through simple human connection.

In addition, I scored a 730 on SAT math. I will also be attending Florida State University as an undergraduate, pursuing degrees in Finance and Accounting.
