My name is Tiffany, and I am currently pursuing a career in teaching, but first and most importantly, my career in education! I absolutely love school and learning and I have found that I love teaching as well. I had no idea what I wanted to do when I first started going to school, and I kept changing my career choice. I used to feel so overwhelmed that I would not be successful because I could not figure it out like all my friends could. Later, after taking many classes and having the best professors, I realized that is exactly what I want to do- make learning fun! That is what my professors did for me, and they were so passionate about the subject they were teaching, they could make anything sound interesting!
I have worked as a preschool teacher, teaching three and four-year olds at a daycare center. I love working with children, everything is so new to them and the excitement they feel radiates off of them and fills my heart with joy! I have also helped with homework for my niece in first grade, and a neighbor's child in third grade. I really feel like I am the kind of person that can adapt easily and learn quickly, making myself a great choice for any age or grade. Tutoring is similar to teaching, but in a way is better because I get to give the one-on-one help that every student deserves. I look forward to meeting and helping you! I am very good with numbers and remembering formulas. The key is figuring out how I can get you to connect with it so that you can learn more easily. I am an avid believer that when it comes to math, you must study every day! Even if it's only five problems, the more you practice the better you will be.
I love science! It was my favorite subject, even in college! I aced both Biology courses and loved the material. If you don't like science, that's okay, like I said before it's all about how you study and how often. We can definitely work together to make you a science wiz!
