Hello! My name is Morgan C., and I am a certified Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher with over 10 years of experience working with students of all ages and abilities. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Student Education (K–12) and recently earned my Master of Arts in Autism Spectrum Disorder in July 2025. I also have endorsements in Reading and ESOL, and I’m passionate about supporting learners with varying exceptionalities.

My professional experience includes five years as a paraprofessional and nearly six years as a lead classroom teacher in both inclusive and self-contained settings. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to high school, including those with autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, specific learning disabilities, speech and language impairments, and behavioral challenges.

As a tutor, I specialize in:

Reading intervention and comprehension strategies
Foundational math skills
Executive functioning and study skills
Behavior supports and social skills coaching
Homework help and academic organization
My approach is student-centered, strengths-based, and flexible. I believe every learner is unique, so I tailor my strategies to meet individual needs. I use visual supports, hands-on activities, modeling, repetition, and positive reinforcement to ensure my students feel confident and successful.

In addition to my classroom experience, I also run a community-based social skills group called You Are My Sunshine, which serves children with varying exceptionalities through structured activities like games, sports, and role-play. This has deepened my understanding of how to support social-emotional growth and peer relationships outside of the classroom.

Whether your child needs academic support, help with behavior strategies, or a boost in confidence, I am here to help! I look forward to partnering with you and helping your student shine.
