I am a retired military veteran who served 22 years in the Army after being stationed across both, the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans on multiple occasions, as well as being stationed all over the United States. Outside of serving my country and caring for my family, my passion has been in sports, primarily basketball. I love playing and watching the game, but more than that, I love sharing my knowledge of the game and educating youths of all ages. Thus, why I have been staffed in sports with the the Tampa Metropolitan YMCA for over 18 years. Being in an atmosphere which fosters growth and development through sports, primarily basketball for me has been a wonderful experience. Back in May of 2011, I decided to extend myself in basketball by getting certified with the West Coast Official's Association as a County Official where I officiate, but observe the strengths and areas needing attention of players, so when I give players my assessment of them as a player I can elaborate on what I know, and what I see. Basketball is a great game where great players can be created getting a head start by being fundamentally sound, and become a total player, demonstrating a basketball IQ as well as fundamental skills. This is where I come into the picture.
