Strong writing starts with strong thinking. I help students turn unclear ideas into clear, structured, and effective academic writing. Rather than simply proofreading, I focus on teaching students how to organize their thoughts, build logical arguments, and express themselves with confidence. I regularly work with high school students transitioning into more advanced coursework as well as college students in English 101, composition, and other writing-intensive classes. Many of the students I support are managing multiple papers or independent study work and need both structure and accountability to stay on track.

My professional background is in designing and delivering training in healthcare and public safety environments, where complex material must be taught clearly and applied in real-world situations. I bring that same practical, structured approach to tutoring. Sessions are collaborative and focused. We break down assignments, develop outlines, strengthen key ideas, and refine drafts with specific, actionable feedback. My goal is not just to improve a single paper, but to help students develop a repeatable process they can use independently.

I am a strong fit for students who feel overwhelmed by writing, have difficulty organizing their thinking, or want to improve their skills in a meaningful and lasting way.
