I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida and am certified to teach grades K–6. I have three years of teaching experience, including time as a student teacher, long-term substitute, and full-time classroom teacher. I’ve taught second and third grade in both Alachua and Brevard counties, working with students ages 7 to 9 across all core subjects: ELA, math, science, and social studies.
In addition to classroom teaching, I’ve tutored students both in-person and online, focusing on small group and one-on-one instruction. I especially enjoy one-on-one tutoring because it allows me to build strong connections with students and tailor lessons to meet their individual needs.
My teaching style blends several methods to keep students engaged and confident. I often use the "I do, we do, you do" approach, which allows me to model a concept, practice it alongside the student, and then give them the opportunity to apply it independently. I also incorporate inquiry-based learning, game-based activities, and blended learning strategies to make lessons interactive and meaningful.
I’m passionate about helping students grow both academically and personally, and I look forward to working with your child to help them reach their goals!
