I help students achieve measurable improvements in high school, AP and college-level coursework by combining subject knowledge with personalized study and test-taking strategies. The subjects I teach are: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics (AP, high school, and college level), AP English Language and Literature, AP U.S. and European History, French, Italian, academic and college application essay writing, as well as middle school and high school English and History. I am an upperclassman Economics and French & Italian major at the University of Florida with a GPA above 3.9 and experience in economics research and econometrics. I earned scores of 5 on AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP U.S. History, AP European History, AP French, and AP Economics. Over the past several years, I have helped students succeed in AP and college-level coursework, working with them to prepare for exams and improve academic performance.

My lessons are interactive and adapted to the subject being taught. In economics, I focus on building step-by-step intuition for models and graphs, helping students understand not just how to solve problems, but why the logic behind each concept works. In essay-based subjects like English and history, I emphasize structure, argument development, and evidence-based writing to help students write more clearly and analytically; as well as working with them to develop the critical thinking skills necessary to understanding the oftentimes complex texts assigned in these subjects. For language learning, I focus on establishing a grammar and vocabulary base, and then I emphasize well-rounded practical application through reading, writing, speaking, and listening exercises. A typical lesson is guided by the student’s goals, whether that involves preparing for an exam, reviewing challenging homework, or strengthening long-term understanding of the material, in order for them to see clear improvement in understanding, performance, and confidence across assignments and exams.
