Bio

I have taught high school advanced academics courses for almost 25 years, including AP English Literature and Language, Cambridge AICE English Language and General Paper, pre-IB, and all grade levels (9-12) of English Honors. I have served as a writing coach and have taught ENC 1101 and 1102 at the college level. I currently work as a college writing tutor and adjunct instructor.

I am a State of Florida High Impact English teacher, meaning my students earned significant gains on state ELA assessments. I have master's degrees in English, Journalism, and Library Science and am especially skilled in helping students understand and appreciate Shakespeare.
