Currently I am a student at USF, attaining my Bachelor's in Humanities and Cultural Studies. I attained my Associate's degree at Hillsborough Community College, in Sociology. I started tutoring a year ago, just to earn extra money, then fell in love with it! I became passionate about teaching my students how to think about their subjects and apply it to everyday thinking. Most of my experience in tutoring has been in elementary math and reading. Public Speaking and Swimming are two fields I have personal experience in and love to help others thrive in.

Math is my favorite subject to tutor! As someone who struggled with math A LOT in school growing up, I understand the frustration that some students face. However, I am passionate about teaching students how to THINK about math, not just going through the motions. I believe that if a student understands the basic concepts of math, and why they make sense, they are ahead. Math will come much easier.

Public Speaking is a subject I have experience in. In High School I spoke at many adoption conferences. I believe the key to Public Speaking is to be relaxed, relatable, and to give your point effectively to your audience. Learning to present yourself and your thoughts are a part of life, so it IS important.
For the past year, as a tutor, I have had many students who are learning to read and write. I have experience mostly with Elementary students, or students who are learning English as a second language.

I was a lifeguard for 3 years, and with that job, I taught swim lessons. I can help your child overcome fear of the water, to improving stroke technique and preparing them to join a team. I also competively swam for 8 years, with my best strokes being Butterfly and Breaststroke.

I hope to give my students the tools they need to do well in school, as well as in swimming. If you have any questions, you can contact me, and I will respond as soon as possible. Thank you!
