I hold a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Administration, a Master of Arts in Education, and a Bachelor of Elementary Education. My academic preparation has provided me with a strong foundation in elementary education, curriculum development, assessment, and instructional practice. I currently hold a Florida Department of Education Statement of Status of Eligibility for Elementary Education K–6 and previously held a Florida Educator Certificate as a J-1 Exchange Teacher (K–12) from 2022 to 2025. I have also passed the FTCE examinations for Elementary Education K–6, Professional Education, and ESOL K–12, including the Elementary Education examinations in language arts, mathematics, science, and social science.
I have extensive experience teaching elementary and secondary students, including serving as an elementary educator and after-school tutor at Woodmont Charter School in Florida from 2022 to 2024. In this role, I provided one-on-one and small-group tutoring to K–6 students in English Language Arts, mathematics, and science while also providing full-time classroom instruction. I worked with students at different academic levels and used diagnostic and formative assessments to identify learning gaps, monitor progress, and adjust instruction. My tutoring approach includes differentiated instruction, scaffolding, guided practice, targeted questioning, individualized reinforcement, and age-appropriate explanations.
My background also includes elementary science teaching and secondary science instruction. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt instruction to individual learning needs, and provide patient, student-centered support. I am well prepared to tutor K–6 students in English Language Arts, mathematics, and science and to help them strengthen both academic skills and confidence.
