For more than 30 years, I have worked with the Spanish and English languages. I teach beginners who want to feel confident speaking Spanish. I understand how intimidating a new language can feel, so my approach is patient, clear, and encouraging. One of my priorities is helping students lose the fear of speaking by creating a safe, supportive environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and discovering their own abilities. I always remind my students that their errors are their greatest strength, because every mistake helps them fix the knowledge more deeply. I focus on simple explanations, practical communication, and real-life examples that make Spanish feel natural and accessible. My goal is always to adapt to each student’s pace so learning feels comfortable, not overwhelming.
I hold a B.A. in English Language and Literature, and my professional experience with Spanish has strengthened my understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and accurate communication. In my lessons, we practice conversation from the very beginning, building confidence step by step. Many students appreciate that I help them trust themselves and speak without anxiety, even if they have struggled before. My students have mostly been young people and adolescents, and I connect with them quickly by not being stiff but by treating them as friends.
So, students, your journey with me will be pleasant and truly rewarding. I look forward to meeting you.
