I am a Biomedical Engineering graduate with strong academic training in math, science, and engineering coursework, and I maintained a 4.0 GPA through my graduate studies. My background has given me a strong foundation in subjects such as chemistry, calculus, biology, physics, and electrical systems. Because I have taken these subjects at an advanced level and applied them in laboratory and engineering settings, I am able to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts matter.

I have previous tutoring and teaching experience helping students with electrical systems, chemistry, Signals and systems and calculus. I have worked with students who needed support understanding difficult topics, preparing for exams, improving problem-solving strategies, and building confidence in STEM courses. My approach is patient and structured: I first identify where the student is struggling, then break the material into smaller steps, use examples, and practice problems until the student can explain the concept back in their own words.

My goal as a tutor is to help high school and college students succeed by teaching them how to think through problems, not just memorize answers. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my explanations depending on the student’s level, pace, and goals. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for a test, or aiming for a higher grade, I focus on creating a supportive learning environment where they can ask questions, practice consistently, and gain the skills needed to become more independent and confident learners.

Approved Subjects

Calculus

Calculus

I have a strong background in calculus through my Biomedical Engineering coursework, where I maintained a 4.0 GPA and applied calculus concepts in science, engineering, and data analysis problems. I have experience tutoring students in calculus topics such as limits, derivatives, integrals, related rates, optimization, curve sketching, and applications of integration. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking problems into clear steps, explaining the reasoning behind each method, and helping students build confidence instead of just memorizing formulas.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I have a strong background in chemistry through my Biomedical Engineering coursework and laboratory research experience, where I applied concepts from general chemistry, biochemistry, and analytical chemistry. I earned A’s in my chemistry exams and developed practical strategies and “tricks” to make challenging topics like stoichiometry, molarity, acid-base chemistry, molecular structure, and solution calculations easier to understand. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking problems into clear steps, teaching students how to recognize patterns, and helping them build confidence instead of memorizing without understanding.
