I’m currently a senior Computer Science student at the University of South Florida, and I’ve spent the last few years building real software through coursework and hands-on engineering work. My background includes core CS topics like programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and discrete math, along with practical development skills like SQL/database design, web development, and debugging larger codebases. I also hold AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect Associate), so I’m comfortable helping students understand not just code, but how software is built and deployed in the real world.

My tutoring style is patient, structured, and very “learn-by-doing.” I start by figuring out what the student already understands, then we work through problems step by step until the process feels repeatable. For class-based tutoring, that usually means reviewing notes and assignments, identifying the specific concept that’s causing confusion, and practicing with similar problems until it clicks. For programming help, I like to pair-program: we’ll break the task into small steps, write or fix code together, and I’ll explain the why behind each change so the student can do it independently next time. I’m also happy to help with study plans, exam prep, and building confidence with tricky topics.

I’ve worked one-on-one with students and peers in a collaborative setting, and I’m comfortable helping a wide range of learners—from high school students starting their first programming class to college students working through CS and math requirements. I aim to be supportive without doing the work for the student: my goal is that they leave each session with a clear understanding, a path forward, and the ability to apply the same approach on their own.
