Hello! My name is Efaz Ibrahim, and I am a Software Engineer currently working at Wells Fargo. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Computer Science. During my academic career, I completed competitive internships at both USAA and Wells Fargo, which helped me develop a disciplined, analytical approach to problem-solving, a skill I now bring to my tutoring sessions.

I spent one year as a lead tutor at a professional SAT prep center, where I specialized in both the Math and English Reading & Comprehension sections. My experience includes delivering structured lessons to groups and individuals, administering and grading mock exams to identify specific "weak points", and tracking student progress to ensure consistent score improvements.

I don’t believe in just lecturing. My method is practice-based. We will spend our time working through real SAT problems together. I focus on "learning by doing", showing students the logic behind the questions so they can spot patterns and traps independently. Whether it’s breaking down complex algebraic functions or mastering the nuances of a reading passage, I ensure the student is the one "driving" the session.

I am most passionate about working with high school students who are aiming for top-tier universities. Because I have navigated the internship and hiring loops at Fortune 500 companies, I also offer guidance on university applications and resume building for students looking to stand out in the competitive admissions landscape.
