Hi! My name is Sang. I am a bilingual Korean–English instructor with professional training in language education and a strong background in communication, broadcasting, and interpretation. I hold an MBA in International Management, a TESL Canada Federation professional certificate, and Level 2 certification in Teaching Korean to Foreigners. These qualifications, combined with years of experience working in education and media, allow me to explain Korean grammar, pronunciation, and culture in clear and practical ways that make sense to learners of all backgrounds.
I began teaching in a college setting, where I instructed groups of 20–30 students in speech communication courses. This experience strengthened my ability to manage a classroom, build structured lesson plans, and guide students with different learning styles. I have also worked with adult learners through one-on-one lessons, both in person and online, helping them develop conversational skills, pronunciation, business communication, and confidence in real-life situations. Because of my background in broadcasting, I am particularly skilled at teaching natural speaking tone, intonation, and communication flow.
My teaching approach is fully personalized. Before starting lessons, I take time to understand each student’s proficiency level, goals, and challenges. Whether the learner is a complete beginner, preparing for travel, improving workplace communication, or hoping to strengthen advanced grammar, I design customized lessons that fit their needs. Students describe my classes as supportive, well-structured, and highly engaging. My goal is to help every learner build strong foundations, enjoy the learning process, and achieve meaningful progress in Korean.
