I am one semester away from completing my Master of Education degree, where I focus on effective instructional strategies, differentiated learning, and supporting diverse learners. My academic background has strengthened my understanding of child development, curriculum design, and evidence-based teaching methods, all of which guide the way I support students in their day-to-day learning.

I bring seven years of experience working with K–6 students in a variety of settings, including small-group instruction, individualized tutoring, and classroom support roles. Throughout these years, I have worked with students across grade levels and learning styles, helping them build strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and study skills. My approach emphasizes patience, connection, and breaking concepts into clear, manageable steps so students can feel confident and capable.

Much of my tutoring experience comes from working one-on-one with students who benefit from targeted support, whether catching up, keeping up, or advancing beyond grade level expectations. I also draw on classroom experience where I collaborated with teachers, adapted materials, and supported learners with different needs. I aim to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and celebrate their progress. My goal is always to meet each child where they are and help them grow into motivated, independent learners.

I have worked with students individually and in small groups, helping them gain confidence with grade-level expectations through clear explanations and structured practice. My approach focuses on meeting each student where they are and guiding them toward consistent, measurable growth.

Painting

Painting

I have seven years of experience teaching and tutoring K–6 students in both academic and creative subjects, including painting and hands-on art projects. My background in education has taught me how to design lessons that encourage creativity, confidence, and skill-building through age-appropriate techniques and materials. I have worked with students individually and in small groups, helping them explore color, composition, and artistic expression in a positive and supportive environment. My teaching style focuses on making art accessible, enjoyable, and a meaningful outlet for students of all abilities.
Theater

Theater

I bring hands-on theatre experience from working as a stagehand at both the Straz Center and Tampa Theatre, where I supported live productions and learned professional backstage operations. In high school, I served as the State Student Representative for Florida Thespians and helped run the largest high school theatre festival in the country. My background gives me a strong understanding of acting, production, stagecraft, and how to guide young performers through the creative process. I aim to help students build confidence, collaboration skills, and a deep appreciation for the performing arts.
