I am one semester away from completing my Master of Education degree, where I focus on effective instructional strategies, differentiated learning, and supporting diverse learners. My academic background has strengthened my understanding of child development, curriculum design, and evidence-based teaching methods, all of which guide the way I support students in their day-to-day learning.
I bring seven years of experience working with K–6 students in a variety of settings, including small-group instruction, individualized tutoring, and classroom support roles. Throughout these years, I have worked with students across grade levels and learning styles, helping them build strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and study skills. My approach emphasizes patience, connection, and breaking concepts into clear, manageable steps so students can feel confident and capable.
Much of my tutoring experience comes from working one-on-one with students who benefit from targeted support, whether catching up, keeping up, or advancing beyond grade level expectations. I also draw on classroom experience where I collaborated with teachers, adapted materials, and supported learners with different needs. I aim to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and celebrate their progress. My goal is always to meet each child where they are and help them grow into motivated, independent learners.
