As a current Internal Medicine resident with advanced degrees in Medical Nutrition and Biomedical Sciences, I bring both clinical experience and academic depth to every tutoring session. My background allows me to help students master complex medical and scientific concepts while developing the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to excel on exams and in practice.
I’ve successfully tutored students at all levels from high school to residency in subjects including biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, as well as standardized exams such as the GRE, MCAT, and medical board exams. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, structure, and application. I break down difficult material into manageable concepts and help students connect theory to practice.
For medical students and residents, I emphasize clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based management. Together, we work through case-based learning, question bank strategies, and test-taking methods that align with the Internal Medicine In-Training Exam (ITE), Step exams, and board certification requirements.
For pre-med and graduate-level students, I integrate scientific principles with practical examples to build lasting understanding. I also help students develop effective study systems using tools like Anki, spaced repetition, and active recall.
In addition to academic tutoring, I mentor students in research, including systematic reviews, abstract preparation, and manuscript writing. My own research experience in gut health, metabolism, and clinical medicine allows me to guide learners through every stage of the process from concept to publication.
Above all, my goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment that helps each student gain confidence, master content, and reach their fullest potential, whether that means acing an exam, publishing research, or excelling in clinical care.
