Alongside my academic journey, I have developed a passion for supporting students of all ages, especially in language learning and foundational skills. For three years, I worked closely with kindergarten ESOL students in Miami, helping young learners gain confidence in reading, writing, and speaking English. This experience taught me how to adapt lessons to meet students where they are, using patience, creativity, and positive reinforcement to foster growth.
My tutoring approach is student-centered and flexible. With younger learners, I use visual aids, repetition, and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging while reinforcing key concepts. For older students, I emphasize study strategies, breaking down complex material into manageable steps, and connecting new information to real-life examples. Having worked one-on-one and in small group settings, I know the importance of building trust and tailoring lessons to different learning styles.
