Hi, I'm Cam! I hold a TEFL/TESOL certification and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences. I have been teaching for several years — in high school, I began teaching children ages 3–12 in group settings, and for the past year, I've taught ESL in classrooms and one-on-one, both online and in-person. I love teaching, and it comes naturally to me. I am patient, playful, and encouraging, and I adapt to each of my student's needs.

For ESL, I work mostly with adult learners. I focus on speaking and listening, grammar, and the English of everyday American life. I like to teach outside the classroom too — at stores, restaurants, and other real places where English is happening. I also use games and fun activities to keep lessons enjoyable. I currently work with several Brazilian students and have some knowledge of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, which helps new learners feel comfortable from the start.

I also help middle and high school students with Social Sciences — history, civics, psychology, sociology, and geography. I work to make the information digestible and relatable, so students aren't just regurgitating answers but actually internalizing and applying the information.
