Piano and voice tutor for all levels

To briefly introduce myself, I am a pianist and vocalist who holds a Master of Music Education and a Bachelor of Music Education. As for piano, I am classically-trained and I excel at repertoire selection, piano technique, sight reading, ear training, music theory, and improvisation. I have won several international piano competitions including the 2021 Charleston International Music Competition’s piano division, the 2025 Charleston International Music Competition’s “International Piano Competition” , and the Glory International Piano Competition. Besides solo performance, I also have experience accompanying instrumentalists and vocalists and playing in chamber ensembles. As for voice, I am a classically-trained soprano with a foundation in bel canto opera technique. In addition to classical repertoire, I also sing in contemporary styles such as broadway, jazz, and pop. I have experience performing solo arias as well as being part of a women's choir of 75 singers and a mixed choir of nearly 200 singers.

Besides this, I am a certified teacher who taught elementary/middle school music in the public school system for 3 years and private piano lessons for 1 year. I believe that every student deserves a well-rounded music education. In general, lessons are structured based on the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum and include refining repertoire, technique, sight reading, ear training, and sometimes composition and improvisation skills. However, all lessons are tailored to the student's individual goals. At every level, I strive to create positive relationships and a supportive learning environment in which the student can grow and excel.
