For my undergraduate, I earned my degree from Southeastern University in 2020 with a BS in Pre-Med/Biology. For my graduate, I earned my degree from the University of South Florida in 2025 with my MD. While I was in undergrad, I had the opportunity to tutor and TA for Anatomy and Physiology, Biology I & II, and Molecular Biology. I also have some research and tutoring experience in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
After graduation from SEU, I took a gap year before medical school and taught middle and high school history and science (classroom setting). Once I completed medical school, I began a dual professorship working as adjunct faculty for medical students at USF Health Center of Advanced Medical Learning & Simulation and at Southeastern University teaching Essentials of Anatomy online, which are my current occupations.
My teaching style is truly about catering each lesson and encounter with the student to address their needs. Each student is different, and I have found that the best results come from taking the initial time to outline what the student wants out of my services and targeting the learning to that. For example, if a student wants to go over a practice exam that they took, then I will cater my session to that. But if a student is struggling to understand specific high-yield topics, than short teaching lessons may be more important at that time. I also am aware that there is more to medicine than books and tests, which is why I am also willing to tutor on writing personal statements, secondary application essays, as well as general pre-medicine advising. My goal is to help each student achieve their goals while working toward what they were designed to be!
